Doge’s Palace, also known as Palazzo Ducale di Venezia, is a palace constructed from 1309 to 1324 at Venice, Italy. The exact architect is unknown, but it perhaps designed by Filippo Calendario.

Doge’s Palace is a building with gothic style and used an interesting arcade in the lower building, makes an impressive “gravity-defying” effect.

On 1574, the palace was damaged by fire and then the palace rebuilt with the original Gothic style. Although it rebuilt after fire incident, there’s some clasical feature like the linked way to the prison by the Bridge of Sighs.

Both the interior and exterior is great with gothic style and accurate sculpture. It is a great design to be an inspiration.
