Vitra Design Museum is a weird looking building in Weil am Rhein, Germany. The building owned by Vitra, a Swiss manufacturer of designer furniture, and designed by Frank Gehry in 1990. It is a private museum for design, focusing on furniture and interior design.
The design is expressionist modern with metal roofs on it. The building, 8,000 square foot in area, originally designed to house Rolf Fehlbaum’s private collection. It has cubic and swirl form, collide each other without apparent relationship to the other. It looks separated each part, but actually it has a connection between one part to another part.
