This is a sculptural habitat designed by Liam Hopkins of Lazerian. Pupa is inspired by cocoons, bee hives, spiders nests and weaver birds nests, elements that offers you comfort and safety. This habitat can be installed for dining area or meeting area, block the interference from outside and keep intimate effect between the users. It made of 3,972 triangular cardboard borders and triangle inners to create the frame. for the chairs they use wooden pallets and leather offcuts. To create the model plan they use computer design techniques to generate the form. Each parts of triangle components are glued together by hand to create the cocoon form.
