This is an unique bench with seating that can be moved, create a perfect shape to the postures of the occupants using simply their weight as a point of activation for the movement of the sections. The movement can be happen because the kinetic installation called polymorphic. This double-sided bench consist of 119 unique and interconnected sections with balancing system. this balancing system allow the movement, so when someone sit on one side of this chair the other chair will be lifted up. To improve the safety they linked the internal notches by elastic bands and reinforced by couplings. It is fun bench to use with your friends or even with strangers. It will be interesting when you liftup another person on your back. The design like this unique Reef Bench, the difference is that the Reef Bench is a static bench. This project is created by a team consist of Charlie Able , Alexis Burson, Ivy Chan, Jennifer Chang , Aaron Harris, Trevor Hollyn-Taub, Brian Lee, Eliza Montgomery, Vernon Roether, and David Zhai.
