Sanserif has sent us theirs Valentina Throne Chair design.
Description from the designer:
A chair that aims to make the user feel like a king on his throne. Valentina, That’s the name of the chair, is indebted to the medieval tradition of high-backed chairs with stylized proportions, but above all, following the trend of pieces made of corrugated cardboard that promote a more responsible habitat.
Valentina also has typographic inspiration, like most furniture of this design team. In this case, the “h” have been the chosen one. Their stylized forms gives to this piece a feeling of lightness, which is reinforced by the material used, giving it the feeling of robustness of a modern throne. True to the environmental and social values underpinning in Sanserif Creatius designs, Valentina chair was conceived in corrugated cardboard as part of its collection of new materials for the home. In fact, Ana Yago’s work largely focuses on so-called “social design” which is all about coming up with solutions to the needs of our society while at once transmitting values that reinforce cooperation, respect and coexistence.
