This public gathering space that designed by Interval Architectsfor Beijing Huangzhuang Vocational School. This space has an unique rollercoaster-like shape that can become an identity to the school as well as a fun image that was widely welcomed by the students. This public space built as an iconic image to the institution as well as redefining the use of an existing public space on the central square of the campus. They try to create an efficient public space with a continuous self-folding belt structure. This shape make it looks like a rollercoaster. This public space has a series of spaces such as open gardens, shaded pavilions and exhibition corridors in continuous three-dimensionally belt bends. It is a perfect place to play and gathering.
