The Oakland House designed by Kanner Architects, located on a down-sloping site high above the San Francisco bay in Oakland, California. Designed to capture the great views from the Bay Bright to the Golden Gate Bridge, it using glass start from the floor to the ceiling on majority walls. It faced to south-southwest to cut down glare and soften the light quality in the home.
Contains of two building, it connected by glass bridge with bamboo garden outside the bridge. On first building, there are master bedroom, four other bedrooms, living room and kitchen on the leading edge of the home. On the second building, there are glass carport and secondary bedrooms.
