This house is a modern house designed by Archipelontwepers, built on a site that situated on the border between the town and the open agricultural landscape which surrounds the town. The ideas of this house is to made a house use prefabricated steel components of the “Multiplicity building system”. This house built on a simple orthogonal grid structure of 6 x 6 meters and is linearly modulated in different zones with an alternating rhythm of outdoor and indoor spaces. Steel Study House II is divided into two area, area that facing the town and area with wonderful view over the lake and the open field. The occupants can enjoy this views through the patio. The town side located at west, disconnected from the view of the neighbourhood. This area can be accessed by an ascending gangway that connecting the house and public sidewalk. Nest of this gangway you can see a large downward slope that used as the entry to the garage in the basement.
