This is a minimalist and contemporary lamp designed by Carlos Jiménez. It was inspired by the traditions such as woodcrafts and pottery crafts. With the minimalist design, this lamp will fit perfectly anywhere you want. Not only that, the unique switch system, which needs you to pull the top to light it on, makes it looks more interesting. Abre means “open” in Spanish. The way to dim the light moving up or down the interior cylinder is the main feature of these lamps. This feature makes the user interact with the object in a n easy and original way. There is no switch, the light turns on when pulling up and it turns off when pushing down.
Although it is presented in ceramic and wood, its design is totally versatile when choosing other materials, being possible to be produced completely in ceramic, glass…
