Korean graduate designer Dong-yeop Han has created unique and unusual furniture pieces complied in No Stereotype Series. The furniture collection consists of minimalist products like cabinet and storage all wrapped in plastic bands. The use of plastic bands in furniture design indeed is a novel idea, and a good one. With this elastic plastic bands wrapping the furniture, you can store a lot more stuff not only inside the container but also outside, by simply slipping small objects among the woven bands. Besides, the band’s color and how they are wrapped gives distinctive cool look as well.
