The Makenna Resort located in Itacaré, Brazil by Monica Drucker and Ruben Otero, the Drucker Architects. Designed to transform a natural place of the site into an architectural space, combining it and creates a territory in which the physical landmark is no longer a backdrop to become an active part of their own construction. The building has horizontal lengthwise shape and fits the landscape, radicalizing their potential, thus creating a large belvedere. The shape also eliminating the visual field that which is not substantial to the essence of landscape.
