House on Fire Island by Studio27 Architecture

House on Fire is a summer beach house designed by Studio27 Architecture, located in the resort community of the Pines on Fire Island New York. It using the Pines topology which displaying the inhabitants of coastal communities on East Coast Shoreline resort town. The house has the “spirit of the shore” and creates structures that are a bit dull.

The walls expressed as a skin which keeps the heat in the house. It has large window to get more sunlight entering into the house, and also showing a luxurious light interior in the night. The swimming pool selected as the center of social interaction and the sleeping rooms located on the backstage of the house. Each area of the house following the path of the summer sun, such as breakfast by the pool, cocktails and socializing on the front terrace, and evening dinners in the west light.
