Haines Shoe House by Mahlon Haines

The Haines Shoe House located on Shoe House Road between the Lincoln Highway (state route 462) and U.S. Route 30, designed by Mahlon Haines. The house built in 1948 using wood frame structure covered with wire lath and coated with cement stucco with 48 feet long, 17 feet wide at the widest part and 25 feet high. The house used as a guesthouse, iviting elderly couples to spend the weekend or let honeymooners stay there.
