The Halle 58 Architects creating an apartment building on the boat-shaped ground plan. The apartment using wood as the construction and using concrete for the staircase. Located in Switzerland, it is the first Minergie-P-Eco multifamily home. It consists of three apartments which each can accessed by the concrete staircase.
Each apartments has facade with a combination of wooden framework elements, glazing and entrance doors. The apartments fulfill Minergie-P-Eco standard because the minimal thermal bridges, large windows to the southwest, sufficient thermal mass, good daylight utilization and consistent use of ecological materials.
